This CE webinar will focus on emergencies in the dental office that are related to the administration of local anesthetics.
Local anesthetic toxicity, seizures and allergic reactions will be discussed. At the end of the CE webinar, participants will be able to understand how to calculate the maximum dose of local anesthetic allowable for specific individuals, especially children. As well, how to recognize and manage local anesthetic toxicity and local anesthetic related allergic reactions will be discussed.
